My title - Immigration Crisis 2013 - Central American Minors

Typical of current conditions in Washington D.C., there is a very partisan (partisan means to be on one side, part of one side) debate between Republicans and Democrats over the roughly 50,000 minors that immigrated to the U.S. since October 2013. Republicans blame Obama for his 2012 Executive Order that allowed minors that arrived before 2007 to avoid deportation. Republicans say this permissive policy is encouraging immigration. Democrats blame Republicans in the House for not passing immigration reform in 2013 that would have created a path to citizenship (some call this amnesty) for immigrants here illegally. The main cause is probably the terrible conditions in Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. These countries have very high crime rates and limited economic opportunity.
What are ways to end illegal immigration to the U.S.?
